Business Analyst:
As
a leading global investment banking and securities firm, our customer offers
product innovation, top-quality research, advice and execution through the
following Business Areas: Corporate Finance, Fixed Income, Equities,
Interest Rates and Foreign Exchange
Aufgabe:
The
Business Analyst resource will work assigned to the Zurich IT application
consolidation stream, which is investigating a set of applications &
flows used by the Zurich Securities Borrowing and Lending business.
The
major focus of the role will be:
- Analysis
of existing applications & flows in the Zurich ECT processes
- Analysis
of the business' usage of the various applications
- Production
of documentation to support business & IT decisions on how to go
forward with these applications & flows, possibly including cost
projections for the various scenarios
- Study
of existing documentation as well as investigations & analysis
with the ECT business and the various IT teams involved
- Write
detailed functional specifications, test packs and active testing
& test coordination in the SIT/UAT testing phase
- Increase
own knowledge of the Zurich ECT business processes and the global
applications used within the environment
- Develop
effective lines of communication with other BA's of the global
development teams, the business and other IT groups
- Occasional
overseas travel may be required
Anforderungen:
- Bachelor's
degree or equivalent in Business Studies, Economics or possibly in an
Information Technology related field
- Minimum
of 3 years experience in business analysis (preferable within the
financial industry)
- Knowledge
of securities applications to understand the interfaces between all
the different applications and systems
- Understanding
of the banking business
- Experienced
in documenting process flows
- Knowledge
of the different SWIFT messages within securities area is a plus
- Flexibilty
and high productivity with a strong focus on delivery to the business
and quality assurance is required
- Fluency
in both written and spoken English and German
