Manager IT:
As
a leading global investment banking and securities firm, our customer offers
product innovation, top-quality research, advice and execution through the
following Business Areas: Corporate Finance, Fixed Income, Equities,
Interest Rates and Foreign Exchange
Aufgabe:
The
successful candidate will join a team of highly motivated people in the IT
PB (Prime Brokerage) department within the bank. The team designs,
delivers and maintains functionalities for the Securities Lending
business. The role is to increase the managerial capacities to run the
different initiatives within IT PB Switzerland.
The
major focus of the role will be:
- Analysis
of existing applications & flows in the Zurich Securities Lending
processes and their usage by the business
- Management
of initiatives / programmes / projects for the Zurich based business
- Documentation
to support business & IT decisions on how to go forward with these
applications & flows, including cost projections for the various
scenarios
- Production
of functional specifications for the chosen course of action &
interaction with IT development to implement these
- Study
of existing documentation as well as investigations & analysis
with the Securities Lending business and the various IT teams involved
- Demonstrating
commitment to the bank's & business area's goals
- Occasional
overseas travel may be required
Anforderungen:
- University
degree/Business School preferably in Economics, IT, MBA/MBE
- Minimum
of 3 years experience in business analysis within the financial
industry. Knowledge of securities applications to understand the
interfaces between all the different applications and systems is
essential
- Several
years experience of Project Management within a Front to Back
environment
- Experience
of managing virtual teams with little / no formal responsibility
- Excellent
analytical skills
- Be
capable of setting, and working to, own targets and deadlines when
managerial direction is not readily available
- Able
to build relationships and communicate effectively with both IT and
business representatives
- Fluency
in English; German would be beneficial
